Jude Owumi Farewell Our Nigerian Queen... June 6, 2012

Goodbye Adekunbi...
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to hold yourself
While those around you crawled
They crawled out of the woodwork
And they whispered into your brain
They set you on the treadmill
And they made you change your name
chorus
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a Fellow Nigerian
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did...

May your sweet and gentle soul rest comfortably on God's blossom... We join your family in missing you here on earth,
but God knows best how HE allowed you to leave this earth.

May God be glorified... even in this also... It is well with our hearts... God is still on the throne...
Farewell, Our Nigerian Queen... Till that day when the Mighty Trumpets would sound... Shalom...
Fola You're in the arms of your Father <3 June 6, 2012

WOW, this page did nothing but bring tears to my eyes but the beautiful song in the background gives me hope that there is truly a God and He knows best. He's the author and finisher of it all, so although it makes no sense how death can be so disrespectful.. how can someone so beautiful can be taken away so disrespectfully.. BUT God knows best. You're in a better, safer, easier place. I grieve with your family and everyone that knew you. May God restore their joy, may He grant them an everlasting peace to leave all their questions at his feet and put their faith and lives in his hands. I know all this is easier said than done, but she lived beautifully and we can all see that her pictures showed a great and happy personality! So rejoice. Our Father knows best! Rest in peace.

Trying to hold tears back. There's nothing better than living a life filled with people that genuinely love you. Even though I didn't know you when you were here, it is beyond obvious that you lived a blessed life and touched so many people. I know many people who are grieving in this period, but your death really affected many people.

May you rest in perfect peace.

funsho oyelaja I never met you or knew you! June 6, 2012

I hardly shed tears when people die especially if I do not know you

But I cried when I saw this page

I hardly write condolences

But I could just resist sending you a message

I google searched for your picture when my cousin said you were a potential in-law

I know he likes pretty girls  so I was not surprise to see a cute girl

Loved you at 1st sight

There is just something about you I cannot comprehend

I keep trying to convince myself you do not remind me of me when I was your age.

Could it be your beauty or your smile ?

Well guess that is gone now. People say you are in a better place I hope you really are so we can talk about you when I get to the better place

Rest in peace young  damsel!

Dear Kunbi,

I did not know you personally but if theres one thing I remember its how infectious your smile was and how fondly Tutu spoke of you. I knew how close you two were and what an influence and role model you were to her. I know you are with God in heaven now guarding over her.

My brother was so upset at the news. He sends his condolences to Tutu and your mum and dad.

From all I've read you were clearly a blessing to the world. God knows best and has called you to be by his side.

Rest in peave Kunbi. I pray God continues to comfort and strengthen Tutu and your family and friends.

I know you not but the plane crash hit me like no other and knowing someone so lovable so admirable and same age as myself

was involved hit me even harder, it could have been anyone but God chose you all.  I believe God takes the good ones away

from us because the earth isn't good enough for them. I write this message with tears in my eyes but with joy in my heart,

tears that If I got to know you or your had more time on earth you would have changed lives but with joy in my heart that your

story has made a difference in my life. May God protect your family and give them fortitude to bear the loss, I pray God pardons

your sins and grant you eternal life is his kingdom.

Adios Kunbi, Your memory lives on.

Bukky Good night June 6, 2012

I do not know you personally, Kunbi but by providence, stumbled on your website.  The song being played-Because of who You are was the song I woke up singing this morning. I am deeply saddened by your death as well as others that lost their lives in the ill-fated plane. God knows best. From the testimonies I've read about you, I am assured you are already at the feet of our Lord.  Though you died young, you lived well and loved the Lord.  My heart goes out to your parents, familly and friends. I pray the Lord comforts them all and those of us that mourn your passing. Rest in peace beautiful! Keep smiling angel!!!!!!!!!!!

You were so pretty, and elegant. Your life seemed full especially because you had Christ. I did not know you personally. However, your humility and warmth radiates through. I am inspired by your memoirs to live a purposeful life...expressing the treasures in me and adding a glow to the lives of others. You seemed fun to be with. To her family...Give God thanks for she had Christ and for the time you had with her...To her friends...Give God thanks for the privilege of knowing her...To the rest of us...Be inspired by her life and maximize your time here on earth. Kunbi has left us now and it is till we meet again at the feet of Jesus. Thank you Lord!

From all Tutu told me about you, I knew you were an amazing, smart, and beautiful sister. As God has now taken you back to your rightful home, I can only be glad that now you will be an even more amazing and beautiful guardian angel to watch over her and the rest of us. Rest in perfect peace. You will always be in our hearts.
Kofo Kunbi May Your Soul Rest in Perfect Peace June 6, 2012

When I heard the news on sunday night, I was shocked. I can't imagine how your mum and dad will take it. It was a great loss. As a mother myself, I can't comprehend it. I called my sister in america, Funlola Adebiyi, she was down as well. Your were such a blessing, a true blessing from above. My prayer is that you rest in perfect peace, I pray that you are currently with the host of heaven worshipping before the feet of Our Lord. I also pray that God will comfort your mum, your dad, sisters, brother and the entire family, for He is The Greatest Comforter. We were blessed to know you Kunbi. We are grateful for the time you had with us. For His word says in Psalm 116 vs 15: Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of His saints.
Adeoye Jaiyeola Kunbi- Rest in perfect peace June 6, 2012

Words cannot describe the shock and heartbreak I felt after hearing the news. The only way I was able to find solace was by knowing that you are resting with the Lord- in a better place. I'm glad and grateful to God for the opportunity to have met you last year. Despite knowing you for such a short period of time, I will never ever forget you. Rest in perfect peace Kunbi.

Your smile was filled with warmth, innocence and it brightened every place. Your sense of style was impeccable. You were a model to others about what a classy lady looks like. You lived your life like a candle in the wind. Though your time on earth was brief, it was memorable. You were like a precious metal, adding value to the lives of those you came across. No doubt your departure has left a vacuum in our hearts, you will never be forgotten and your dreams will live on. You were a gift to our generation and thank you for doing your part. I guess the real question about life is not how long but how well. I know you lived your life to the full. The lord has called you home, though we wish it was later but He knows best . The memory of the righteous is blessed. Adieu sis

Kunbi,
IT's so sad to learn to you are gone so soon. you were a rare gem, always smiling and very respectful. its so unfortunate that you are leaving at the prime of your youth. We are loosing you but you are a great gain to Heaven. I am sure the Saints and Angels are happy to have you home.
it was really nice knowing you and passing through the same institution with you. Thanks for the inspiring roles you played in GVC Lboro. Go and rest in the Bossom of the Lord till we join you.
May God grant your family and friends the fortitude to bear this painful lose. We love you dear but God loves you more. Your smile and memory will linger in our hearts.....
Dumebi Uyoyou-Agha REST IN THE BOSSOM OF THE LORD June 6, 2012

Kumbi,

I dont know you at all prior to now but seeing your fotos and reading the words of your friends and family i almost feel like i have lost out not knowing your pretty and seemingly lively self. However, i am certain of 1 thing, you are without a doubt in a better place - away from this very very wicked world smiling down at us. In tears, i say rest in the bossom of the Lord...May the Lord grant your family and friends peace and heal their broken hearts.
