A better place |
June 5, 2012 |
As Humans, there are many things we are unable to explain despite how hard we try, search and explore.
I pray that as Kunbi looks down from heaven towards her family and the peoples lives her aura and influence had an effect on may she smile as they remain strong knowing she is in a better place. May the God console and comfort you all.

Kunbi |
June 5, 2012 |
Although I didn't know Kunbi too well and didn't get the opportunity to spend much time with her, in the little time that I did spend with her it was clear that she was a special person. I think what I will remember most was she was overwhelmingly kind and approachable, even towards someone who didn't know her too well. She was the kind of person that you can't forget the first time you met her because it was such a positive experience that it becomes a good memory. My prayers are with Kunbi's family and also her friends, of which I am sure there are many. RIP Kunbi, gone far too soon.

When I saw Kunbi's name on the list I could not link it to her until I was called this night that it was that young, amiable and down to hearth lady in my sunday class @ GVC Loughborough. Her death was a rude shock to me. I pray to God to give her family and friends the fortitude to bear this loss. Adieu Adekunbi, sleep well in the bossom our saviour!

Kunbi will always be remembered and it is those memories that I pray give strength to those she was particularly close to. To her family and my dearest friend (Ugonna), I pray that the Holy Spirit comforts you all. Peace that passes all understanding, mercy, grace and most importantly the will to keep going is what I pray for you all. Sleep well Kunbi. xxx
May you rest in peace Kunbi. God be with you and your family.

A Very Amiable Lady |
June 5, 2012 |
My first encounter with Kunbi was at GVC Loughborough. She was an undergraduate at the time I was pursuing a Master's Programme at the Loughborough University. She was such a lively young lady, very intelligent and amiable. Kunbi, was very resourceful and down to earth. She was just a beauty to behold(both inside and outside). U just had to like this lady.
Am still in shock and I pray God comforts her immediate family, her friend 'Mama Musa' and her boyfriend 'Ugonna'..

The first day I met Kunbi, I knew I met a Queen.
I'll be missing you Kunbi. Love you always.
Rest in perfect peace my love.
I read in today's devotion- 'The Ascension', like God was talking to us all. When a loved one goes ahead of us to heaven, we feel as if we're being pulled in the opposite direction-down into abyss of sadness (thats how most of us feel right now). Yet, b'cos God kept His promise to raise Christ and take Him to heaven, we can trust Him to do the same for all who love and follow Him. Kunbi, you are loved and missed by All.
May her soul rest in peace...

Im still in shock. I really cant believe all this at the moment. I have not known Adekunbi too well but I do remember she was one of the choir singers and a member of the GVC Church band at Loughborough, UK. She had such an amazing voice. The Good Lord giveth and he taketh. My words to you at relatives and friends are that, you should at any point lose hope in this life or be disheartened at this incident because I believe that God in his infinite goodness and kindness has better a good plan for us all. He has his reason for taking her away from us all this early :(. She is in a much better place. May her soul Rest in Peace. Accept my utmost condolence. God bless
